Vivid Sydney 2026 is currently running across the city for 23 nights, from May 22 to June 13, 2026.
The festival transforms Sydney into an immersive cultural experience featuring spectacular lights, music, ideas, and food, with over 80% of events being completely free.
Segments of Vivid Sydney 2026 are the following:
The Light Walk: A massive 6.5 km illuminated trail connecting Circular Quay, The Rocks, Barangaroo, and Darling Harbour
Day-Light Program: For the first time, Vivid includes daytime activations, making art and sculptures accessible before dark.
Sydney Opera House: The Lighting of the Sails features artwork by French artist Yann Ngeuma.
